Fire sprinklers are required in an enclosed stairway when the building is sprinklered. Top of the stairway is combustible construction. -Response letter states the alarm system work is shown on the E sheets. I believe you have mistaken the fire bell, which serves the fire sprinkler, with the building fire alarm system. The building has a fire alarm which will require fire alarm notification in the stairwell. The fire alarm is a separate permit. Obtain a fire alarm permit from TFD. Fire alarm needs to be approved prior to fire final. -Indicate fire sprinkler will be a separate permit. Make correction to sheet A0.0 (separate submittals table).
