The keynote indicates that the existing beam is to be removed or remained without connecting to the new beam. If the existing beam is structural, please clarify what modifications are to be made to reinforce the roof if removed as stated or if the beam is to remain address how and to what this beam will connect to transfer its load. Sheet S3.0 1. Please clarify Detail 201. Note 6 on Detail 201 indicates shoring of the floor but sheet S2.0 indicates a roof framing plan.
