3. WHEELCHAIR TURNING CIRCLE
a. Sheet A6.2 Enlarged Restroom Plan. Wheelchair turning circle is shown as 60 inches.
b. The turning space shall be a circular space with a 67-inch minimum diameter. ICC A117.1 sec 304.3.1.1
c. Please correct this non-compliant condition everywhere where an accessible restroom is proposed.
d. Please ensure to correct the physical space to ensure the wheelchair turning circle is complied to.
4. ELEVATOR
a. Multistory buildings and facilities containing levels over 3,000 sf, at least one accessible route shall connect each accessible story, mezzanine and occupiable roofs in multilevel buildings and facilities per IBC 1104.4.
b. Compliance may require an elevator.

05/07/2026 Commercial Mechanical Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. The 2024 International Mechanical Code with Local Amendments is the relevant mechanical code for this project (see also, the mechanical specifications on M-0). Provide ventilation calculations based on the 2024 IMC.
2. Clarify mechanical section B/M1 (i.e., coordinate the ductwork from RTU-E3 and RTU-E4 on the first and second levels). Reference Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024.
3. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2018.

05/06/2026 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 604.4, IPC 2024 and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
2. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5.1, IECC 2018.
3. Revise the roof drain calculations based on the 2024 IPC and include the effect of any vertical walls or adjacent sloped roofs that can divert rainfall onto the roof. Reference: Section 1106.4, IPC 2024.
4. Revise the gutter calculations based on Section 1106.6, IPC 2024.

2. This permit, TC-COM-0426-00552, cannot be approved for the outdoor lighting review until the previous permit, TC-COM-1224-02437 (5951 S 12TH AV TUCSON, AZ 85706), is corrected through revision and it has been approved for Outdoor Lighting compliance. Permit TC-COM-1224-02437 is missing compliance calculations, and multiple light fixtures are over the maximum color temperature.

3. The replacement, relocation and installation of new lighting fixtures requires compliance with the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code.
4. Provide an outdoor site lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan, both new and existing. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan. The site lighting plan must include all outdoor lighting for the entire site/developed area of the site, including the TEP installed parking lot lights.
5. List the Lighting Area per OLC (typically E3) chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1.
6. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include ALL exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List whether the fixtures are shielded or unshielded lights in the calculation.
7. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4.
8. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1.
9. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the outdoor lighting fixtures. Include the lumen and color temperature values for each outdoor fixture type.
10. Indicate whether or not a special inspection is required per sec. 104.2.2, and 106.2.
