Please amend the plans to provide a metal stud table or structural calculation to demonstrate the metal studs used for interior walls and partitions that exceed 6 feet in height, including their finish materials, shall have adequate strength and stiffness to resist the loads to which they are subjected but not less than a horizontal load of 5 psf. IBC 1607.15

1. Reference sheet E0.1, General Electrical Notes #43.
a. The provided equipment and room designations indicate that patient care will be provided in the ‘examination rooms’. These spaces are required to meet the requirement of NEC 517. See NEC 517.1, “This article applies to electrical construction and installation criteria in health care facilities that provide services to human beings.”
b. The wiring and electrical equipment in the examining rooms and other patient care areas within the office suite are subject to the requirements of Article 517.
2. Provide a clear list of services provided in these ‘examination rooms’ and the ‘triage’ room. Include any state licensing information associated with this installation.
3. Reference sheet E3.1, Provide accurate measurements from the sink in the ‘Work Area’, to the electrical receptacles on the counter space across from the sink. It appears that some receptacles are within 6 feet of the sink an require GFCI protection, NEC 210.8(B).
4. Reference sheet E3.1, ‘Work Area’. There are 4 receptacles on the counter space that are shown on circuit A-44. The panel schedule shows circuit A-44 as ‘Spare’. Please correct.
04/16/2026 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. For the use of PEX tubing, provide a branch tube sizing chart showing the correct size of PEX tubing to be used as a substitute for the copper pipe shown on the drawings. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 604.3, IPC 2024.
2. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5.1, IECC 2018 (e.g. 24” for ½” pipe, see room 115).
