This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Arc-fault protection. Provide Arc-fault protection per NEC 210.12(A). All listed branch circuits that supply 120V, 15- and 20-amp outlets shall be AFCI protected. All 120-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20-ampere branch circuits supplying outlets or devices installed in dwelling unit kitchens, family rooms, dining rooms, living rooms, parlors, libraries, dens, bedrooms, sunrooms, recreation rooms, closets, hallways, laundry areas, or similar rooms or areas shall be protected by any of the means described in 210.12(A)(1) through (6): 2. Provide GFCI protection in laundry area per NEC 210.8(A)(10). 3. Show all wiring methods in detail for all branch circuit wiring and feeders. Conductor type and conduit size/type.
