11/25/2024 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT Please submit your revised documents and provide a letter with a written response letter addressing each of the comments indicating how the Plumbing Review comments were resolved. Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed.

4. An approved 2-way cleanout fitting is allowed to be used at the junction of a building drain and a building sewer; otherwise, cleanouts shall open to allow cleaning only in the direction of flow (see “TWO-WAY CO #6”, UT01 and P1.1). Reference: Section 708.1.8, IPC 2018.

4. SECOND REVIEW: This comment partially remains and is expanded: For consistency, please coordinate the location of the TWO-WAY CO #6”, UT01 and P1.1to show the same location on both drawings. IBC 107.2.1

6. The Equipment Room shows floor drains, emergency shower/eyewash, and water supply requirements “PER MEP” but no drawings depict any water supply or a building sewer to the building. How will this building be included in this activity?

a. The civil drawings (Sheet UT01), do not show water supply or building sewer to the building. Amend the civil plans to show continuation and point of connection to site water and sewer. IBC 107.2.1
b. The Emergency Shower/Eye wash and Floor drain Plumbing Plan is inaccurately identified as Fire Sprinkler Equipment Plan on (Sheet P2.1). Amend plans to provide an accurate identifier and complete the reference callouts for the drawing detail. IBC 107.2.1
c. Amend plans to provide Soil & Vent Riser and CW & HW Riser drawings depicting the Emergency Shower/Eye wash and Floor drain system. IBC 107.2.1
