Also, what does the value 30035/361 represent? 2 Ref; Electrical Line Diagram. As requested per the previous electrical plan review comment #8, “Provide details for Meter Base and Panel ‘A’. Please indicate the service disconnect size and fuse types for panel ‘A’ as you did for ‘Future Panel B’. 3 As requested per electrical the previous electrical plan review comment #10,” Indicate on the plans, wiring methods for the emergency and exit lighting”. | 07/01/2024 | Commercial Mechanical | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | 1. Revise the envelope compliance certificate to include the overhead sectional door in the North wall. Coordinate the roof and wall insulation specified on the plans with those noted in COMcheck. [Initial comment: Demonstrate energy code compliance for the building envelope using calculations based on the current code (e.g. COMcheck). Reference: Sections C101.5, C103.2, C303, and C401.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2018.] 2. Clarify the ventilation being supplied to the area served by the heat pump. The equipment schedule shows 719 CFM, the Outside Air Ventilation Schedule shows 77 CFM and the heating/cooling load calculations list 330 CFM in the winter and 825 CFM in the summer. In addition, the 4-ton unit is scheduled to deliver 1600 CFM but only 825 CFM is identified on the Mechanical Plan. [Initial comment: Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2018.] 3. The 988 square foot vehicle storage area requires 0.75 CFM of exhaust, per square foot, 741 CFM, not 719 CFM. In addition, show how the storage area will be provided with make-up air (e.g., intake grill?). Reference: Section 501.4, IMC 2018. [Initial comment: Provide ventilation for the enclosed motorcycle garage area per Section 404.1, IMC 2018.] |

| 07/01/2024 | Commercial Plumbing | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | The Plumbing CW Isometric (3/ P1.0) does not show a hot water recirculation system. The requirement of Section C404.5, IECC 2018 is that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatory is less than 24”, assuming a ½” supply to the lavatory. With a hot water recirculation system, the hot water piping loop is considered the source of the hot water. [Initial comment: Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatory complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.] | ||
