1. Provide accurate information regarding Current Codes per International Building Code 2018. The information provided on sheet 12 of 100 as IBC 2012 is incorrect since State has adopted latest Codes.
2. Refer to Sheet 12 of 100 of the Structural Calculations and Structural Drawing S0.1. The Seismic Design Data parameters doesn’t match. Verify and make revisions as needed.
3. Refer to Structural Calculations sheet 14 of 100. This sheet calls for ASCE7-10, Revise calculations to ASCE7-16 and resubmit.

5. Provide Geotechnical Report for the proposed building per International Building Code 2018, Section 1803.1.

8. DEFERRED SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
Structural general notes are to include any components of the building that may be considered deferred submittals.
IBC Section 107.3.4.1 requires deferred submittals to be approved by the building official.
If items will be deferred the plans are to clearly note the following per IBC Section 107.3.4.1:
* To be reviewed by design professional in responsible charge.
* Design professional shall affix a notation that the deferred items are in general conformance with their design of the building.
* They shall be submitted for review by the building official.
* Shall not be installed until approved by building official.
Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings.

1. Sheet T1.1: The occupant load calculation for the the dining room is incorrect. The IBC does not permit the usage of "actual" loads or chair counts beyond fixed seating. One must use the calculated load in determining further requirements. Provide the calculated loads using unconcentrated tables and chairs and any fixed seating (booths) and correlate any further requirements in accordance with Table 1004.5.
2. At least 5% of the dining surfaces are required to have mobility features. Provide calculations of the required amount of accessible seating and indicate the locations. Additionally, ensure that surfaces are properly dispersed throughout the structure. Section 226.1 and 226.2 of the 2010 ADAAG.

1. Provide appliance duty classification for hood 3 sheet H5.1 (IMC2018,507.2.1)
2. You are exhausting 2095 cfm through hood 1 but only bringing in 1,446 cfm through the perforated supply plenum, you must bring in approximately the same amount of air that you exhaust this is the same for all 3 hoods sheet H5.1 (IMC208,508.1)
3. Make note on schedule that the kitchen exhaust for the hoods shall be interlocked with the make up air unit on sheet H5.1 (IMC 2018,508.1)
4. Both walk in coolers condensing units shall be on schedule with all pertinent information including the amount and type of refrigerant along with the model and serial #'s. votages, amps, etc. (IMC2018,106.3.1)

This site is located in the C-1 zone (UDC 4.7.20). Food Service is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-4), subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.4.M.1 & 5 and 4.9.13.O.

1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with Development Package (DP) TD-DEV-0423-00212 and although it appears that the plans match until the DP is approved by all review agencies Zoning cannot approve this building permit.
