The electrical plan review comments were not completely addressed or the response was not detailed enough to satisfy the review comment. 1 Response to previous Electrical review comment #1; The Photometric Analysis shows the new under canopy luminaires Color Temperature rated at 4000K. This is in violation of the 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC) section 402.1, (3500K max). To verify OLC compliance, provide the information required on the site lighting plans, per section 104.2 (Plan/Permit Submittal Requirements), and Lumen calculations per 104.2.1, 104.2.3, OLC. Provide Luminaires manufacturers cut sheet with all specifications highlighted or encircled. Be advised, Under Canopy luminaires that provide full cut-off shielding by the manufacturer, and lamp color temperature output of 3500K or less is exempt from the lumen calculations requirement per exception 104.2.1. 2 Response to previous Electrical review comment #2; Provide a note on the lighting plan sheet ‘E11’ addressing the exception NEC art 225.32 exception #1 as stated in the response letter, for not requiring the canopy lighting disconnect per NEC art 225.31-32. 3 Ref; Revised Line diagrams and Elevation plan ‘E10. The ‘Distribution Bill of Material’ table Ref equipment does not correlate with the description or Category. For Example; The line diagram identifies the ‘New Dedicated System Combiner Panel as ‘PNL 1’. The table shows ‘PNL 1’ as ‘Owner Metering Cabinet. Please revise the table so that the equipment identification shown on the line diagram correlates with the table. The revised line diagram drawings show an added New Photovoltaic Sub Panel ‘PNL 4’ that feeds ‘PNL 2’ and ‘PNL 3’. The table shows these as inverters? See comment (a). What is ‘PNL 2’ and ‘PNL 3’ ? Show all equipment and locations on the ‘Elevation View’ and ‘Electrical Plan’ plan sheet E10, or provide an Electrical Site Plan. 4 Response to previous review comment #5; The grounding Electrode Systems Details for the Canopy structures is still not shown on the plans, NEC art 690.47. 5 Please provide more detail for the mounting of the PV Modules to the steel structure, NEC 690.43. Be advised, this requirement (comment #4 and #5) will also be required for Project # TC-COM-0423-00958. Ref; 2018 IBC section 107.2.1, 2017 NEC, 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code. |
