All piping downstream of the backflow assembly shall be identified as non-potable, with warning signs located at each outlet. Reference: Sections 608.9, 608.9.1, and 608.9.2, IPC 2024. [Initial comment: The specified freeze-proof yard hydrant uses a below-grade stop-and-waste valve. This is prohibited unless an approved upstream backflow prevention device is used to protect the upstream potable water source and the downstream outlets. Reference: Sections 608.8 and 608.9.1, IPC 2024.] 2. The hot water recirculation system is considered to be the source of the hot water , but the distance from the source to the lavatories shall comply with the requirements of Table C404.5.1, IECC 2024. Provide a note providing the appropriate distance. For Final Submission of the commercial permit once DP is issued, ensure that the referenced development site plan provided as well as the downspouts being properly shown/called-out on the building construction plans match clearly with the approved DP. Comments: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Comment: Site Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with the associated Development Package (DP) TD-DEV-0126-00014. Please ensure the square footage called out in the commercial building permit matches what is called out in the associated DP. These plans state the building square footage is 7,575sf however the associated DP lists the square footage as 7,380sf.
