Show that the proposed reduced pressure zone backflow prevention assembly will be installed in an accessible, non-concealed location per the manufacturer’s installation instructions. The air gap and drain line from the reduced pressure zone backflow prevention assembly shall be piped from the relief valve connection to a clearly visible discharge location with an air gap and that will prevent the occurrence of water damage. Reference: Sections 608.14 and 608.14.2, IPC 2024. 2. The proposed drain box has a 2” waste outlet; reducing the trap to 1-1/2” is not allowed. Reference: Section 704.2, IPC 2024. 3. Provide a detail; showing how the new lavatory, L-1, and drain box, DB-1, are to be connected to the existing waste and vent piping. Reference: Sections 1002.1, IPC 2024.
