Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please note the submittal was incomplete and the plan review was conducted using the information presented. Provide the signed and sealed structural calculations that include vertical and lateral structural analysis, prepared by an Arizona licensed registrant, used in the design of this project. IBC 107.2.7 2. Please clarify the Live and Dead Loads for the roof framing as it appears steel joists are being used. IBC 1606.1 3. Please provide referenced detail drawings on section drawings to show structural connections. IBC 107.2.1 For example, Galvanized steel joists are connected to a tube steel beam, and the tube steel beam is connected to the roof of an ICO structure. Construction details on these and other connections are not detailed on the plans. 4. Please provide a project specific statement of special inspections for this project, stating requirements for the special inspections and required tests. IBC 107.2.1, IBC 1704, IBC 1705 For example: Special inspection of Field Welding, Soils, and possibly Post-Installed Anchors? Additionally, provide the City of Tucson Special Inspection Certificate(s) with Parts A and B completed with the next submittal. Commercial Recreation is a permitted use subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.13.Q (UDC Table 4.8-5). Comments: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Comment: Zoning has reviewed the plans for compliance with the associated Development Package (TD-DEV-0523-00248). The plans provided for this building permit list the proposed height as 12’ 7”, however the DP lists the height as 10’. I also included red lines on the plans as the height shown on the building plans are not measured to the top of the roof. The commercial building permit and the associated development package need to match, including the proposed heights. Please update the height on the building permit to match the associated DP or revise the DP to show the new proposed height. 2.
