It appears that the total lumens for the Parcel (14.46 acres), is not included in the total lumen calculations as required per OLC section 104.2.1(2)(3). Per telephone conversation on 1-17-2024 with the EE of record, the information required may require a complete assessment of the entire site and would possibly be a burden imposed on the owner of the site. Also, per the EE of record, the 4 new exterior luminaires would be for maintenance purposes only, and for the safety of personal required to perform maintenance to the equipment after sundown. Due to luminaires being equipped with Full Cut-Off Shielding, Lamp color temperature output not exceeding 3500K, and being installed inside a 9’ Masonry walled equipment yard. The City PDSD plan reviewer will allow the option of, in lieu of providing lumen calculations for the entire parcel, the EE of record will provide for 2 hour mechanical lighting timers to operate the 4 new luminaires to ensure the lighting is not accidently left on after the maintenance work is completed for the night.
