Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Add the 2018 international Fuel Gas Code and the City of Tucson/ Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code to the list of applicable codes in the project summary on sheet T-1. 2. Update the sheet title for the civil drawings Site Plan sheet 5 of 11, it is confusing and does not match the sheet index. 3. Fill in the blanks on notes D and E on sheet T-1 or remove them from the plans if they are not applicable. 4. Update both the legal Jurisdiction on the project summary and note A on sheet 1 to include the City of Tucson. 5. Provide a COM Check document for the thermal envelope for the project or indicate the minimum prescriptive values on the plans per the 2018 IECC section C402. (no values were found for the storefront windows). 6. Provide a dimension on the wall sections from the top of the finished roof surface to the height of the parapet to verify it will provide fall protection for the HVAC equipment that is within 10’ of the edge of the roof. Only the height of the top of the parapet was found. 2018 IBC 1015.6. 7. Show installation of concrete bollards on the site plan A0.1 to protect the existing electrical transformer on the north side of the property near the drive through lanes. 2017 NEC 100.27(B). 8. Indicate bollards or other means of protection for the CO2 tank on the exterior of the building to protect from physical damage or vehicle accidents. 2018 IMC 303.4. 9. The light pole detail 13 on sheet S4.0 indicates non-shrink grout to be used under the pole plate and #3 reinforcing ties and 12” oc however the light pole foundation detail on sheet C1.0 is different. Coordinate the details. 10. Indicate an exit sign over the egress door form the kitchen on the reflected ceiling plans sheet 7.1, only the customer area doors are shown. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Provide an interior and exterior lighting COMcheck document or other approved methodology for the project for the new proposed lighting that is in compliance with the 2018 IECC. The interior lighting compliance certificate shown on sheet E6.2 is cut off and missing the signature. 2. Indicate the location of the occupancy sensors for the lighting on sheet E4.0. 2018 IECC C405.2.1. 3. Indicate the location of an emergency light on the exterior at the exit door from the kitchen area, it appears that only the front customer area is showing EM lighting circuits on the exterior. 2018 IBC 1008.3.2 (5). PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied Need the spec sheets for the gas-fired kitchen equipment and other gas equipment. Show gas pipe connection to the kitchen appliances and restraints. Include the back flow preventers, valves, and other plumbing devices on the supply piping isometric diagram. Include gas devices on the gas piping isometric. Need the irrigation plans.
