SAME- The #13 Ice machine on plan page P1 can't discharge to the grease interceptor. -IPC 1003.2 **This code comment is an internal Bldg. drain plumbing code requirement, can't be addressed by the utility authority. Condensate can't discharge to grease lines, it will cause the grease to solidify and cause stoppages** 2). OK 7).SAME- Per the manufacturer website the GB-250 grease interceptor selected on plan page P6 is a hydromechanical type. The Tucson plumbing code amendments only allow 4 items to discharge to this type of grease interceptor. Update all affected plumbing pages ** Need letter from Building Official stating that the Utility authority can over ride this Tucson plumbing code amendment** 8).Now that the Roof primary & secondary overflow drain detail has been added to plan page A19, this design doesn't meet the requirement. The primary thru wall scupper opening that leads to the downspout is where the secondary overflow needs to be located nearby, not in the down spout assembly. See FPC 1106.5 9). OK 10).OK 11). SAME- Plan set needs to be accompanied by the site utility piping plan for the continuation of sewer, storm, water service to show correlation with plan pages P1 & P2 . -IPC 106.3.1 12). | 03/15/2023 | Site Zoning | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | FROM: Paul Camarena PDSD Zoning Review Section PROJECT: T22CM07804 5201 S 12th Av New Food Service building (2nd Review) TRANSMITTAL DATE: March 14, 2023 Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with DP22-0124. Although it appears that the building plan matches the DP, Zoning cannot approve the building plan until the DP is approved. 2.Comment: Clarify if a separate Demo permit will be applied for, or this building permit is to include the Demo. If so the following comment is applicable. The Pima County Assessor’s effective construction date for your building or structure is 1971. The actual construction date may be earlier. Buildings, portions of buildings or structures that are 50 years of age or older must be architecturally documented prior to demolition. Documentation will be reviewed and approved by the Historic Preservation Office before a permit is issued.
