All work to be done in accordance with the adopted codes of the City of Tucson/ Pima county (not just the IRC). 2. A nonabsorbent wall surface minimum 6’ above the floor is required in the new shower enclosure. 2018 IRC R307.2, R702.4.2. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: APPROVED ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS CONDITIONALLY APPROVED 1. All exterior lighting will be installed in accordance with the 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code. 2. A minimum of 90% of all lighting fixtures in the dwelling will contain high-efficacy lamps. 2018 IECC R404.1. 3. All exterior outlets shall be provided with a weatherproof enclosure with “in-use” covers. 2017 NEC 406.8. 4. Smoke detectors shall be installed in each sleeping room, outside of each sleeping room in the immediate vicinity of the bedroom. 2018 IRC R314.2. All detectors shall be interconnected so that the actuation of one alarm will activate all. 2018 IRC R314.4.
