A single-family residence is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2) subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.5 - .9. RESUBMITTAL OF THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED: Correct plans, as noted in the comments below, along with a response letter indicating how all Site Zoning comments were addressed. 1. The site plan, dated July 22, 2022, appears to be an earlier version of the approved plans. The approved plans contain a Zoning Approval Building Plan stamp dated 11/22/2022 and were submitted by the applicant and dated October 2022. Those plans contained all required items needed for the Zoning review including evidence that all perimeter setbacks were met and addressed earlier review comments. Resubmit the proposal using the most recently approved site plan (without stamps) with proposed changes. Clearly call out the proposed exterior changes on the site plan. 2. Additional comments may be forthcoming depending on responses to zoning review comments and plans submitted for the next review. If you have any questions about this transmittal, please contact Roxanne Johnston at roxanne.johnston@tucsonaz.gov . |

| 12/11/2025 | Historic | REVIEW COMPLETED | The property located at 722 N Tucson Blvd is a contributor to the Sam Hughes National Register Historic District. As a contributor to the district, the property is eligible for a property tax reduction if it is owner-occupied. As a National Register district, you are not required to go through the City of Tucson Historic Preservation Office (HPO) for work. However, to remain a contributing property, I would recommend that you contact that State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to discuss any proposed exterior renovations. They can be reached at 602.542.4009. While you don’t need a review by the Tucson HPO, you may need a permit from the City of Tucson Questions contact Michael.Taku@tucsonaz.gov |
