07/18/2023 | Site Engineering | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Tucson codes and ordinances can be found online at https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/tucson/latest/overview The Stormwater Retention-Detention Manual can be found online at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/engineering-code/updated-retention-detention-manual.pdf DP21-0163 1. Although detention was not required in 2010, the site is required to comply with current stormwater codes. Balanced basin detention is required, please submit a revised drainage report. 2. Provide figures similar to Tables 2.2 and 2.3 in the Stormwater Detention-Retention Manual to demonstrate that first flush requirements are calculated correctly and are being met. 3. Provide slope values for the side walls of the proposed drainge basin. If the slopes of the sides of the basin are greater than 4:1, a security barrier will be required around the basin per Retention-Detention Manual Section 4.11.1. 4. Provide elevations of the tops of the banks of the proposed channel. The 2021 drainage report recommended an additional 12 inches of channel freeboard near the wall openings from Jefferson Commons. Show this additional freeboard or indicate how the back yards will be protected from erosion due to spillover from the wall openings. Lianne Evans lianne.evans@tucsonaz.gov |
