Building Official REVIEW COMPLETED
Commercial Building REVIEW COMPLETED Please enter a statement within your Cover Sheet as to the possible need for a Handicap Accessible EV Charger and how this is being addressed.
Commercial Electrical REVIEW COMPLETED Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response.

1. REF; Plan sheet E1.0. Electrical Plan Lower Level 1. There is a KEY NOTE #4 to the east of the plan that appears to be misplaced. Please fix.

2. REF; Plan sheet E0.2 and E2.0. The EV Charger Feeder Schedule shows all the EV feeders in 1” conduit with 2- #8, #10 equipment ground for each EV feeder. Per NEC 310.15(B)(C) 75c column. #8 AWG cu is rated at 50 amps. The panel schedule for panel ‘EV’ shows 100 amp OCPD’s protecting these feeders. The feeders are undersized. Please clarify.

3. REF; Plan sheet E0.2. Why is the EPO Push Button installed on EV2 and EV4. EV4 is Future. Also provide a wiring schematic and explain how the EPO operates. There is no EPO feature indicated in the EV Charging Station specifications. Please clarify.

4. REF; Plan sheet 2.0. Please indicate the correct fuse rating in ‘MSB’ that protects the feeder for the 400 amp disconnect.

5. REF; E2.0. For clarity, identify the 400 amp disconnect in the line diagram and correlate with the Equipment Circuit Description and CKT shown in the schedule for ‘MSB’.

6. REF; Plan sheet E2.0. A note in the Line Diagram states, “SEE SCHEDULE FOR BREAKER SIZES AND QUANTITIES”. Which schedule? The panel schedule for PANEL NO: ‘MSB’ does not make any sense. How do CKTs #1 thru #12 correlate with this SWITCHBOARD? Are all these Breaker Sizes and Quantities associated with MSB Switchboard? It does not seem apparent. For clarity, please provide a complete ‘ONE LINE FEEDER SCHEDULE’.

REF; 2018 IBC section 107.2.1, 2017 NEC.

TW New Development Review REVIEW COMPLETED CIP-0824-00025 • CIP - Commercial Structure - Initial v1 • 300 S FIRE CENTRAL PL

1. Tucson Water’s NW131413 valve map shows there are public water mains on this property. Please see this valve map to see where the existing public water mains are located in this area. Copies of the valve map(s) and ‘as-built’ plans referenced in these comments may be obtained from Tucson Water’s Mapping & GIS Center by sending an e-mail request for them to TWMapInfo@tucsonaz.gov.

2. I found no sheet in these plans that show the routing of the proposed new underground electric lines to and from the proposed ETR Utility Padmount Transform shown by Keynote 1 on Sheet E0.2 and their spatial relationship to the the existing underground utilities on the site. I would think such sheet is needed to demonstrate there will be no conflicts between these features.

3. The New Development Section has no developer financed projects in this area that may affect or be affected by this Capital Improvement Project.

4. No further reviews by Tucson Water’s New Development Section is required, as no construction of new public water mains, or relocation of existing public water mains is proposed as part of this project.
