Thank you for the opportunity to comment on CIP-0424-00015 the development plan for new
civil improvements at 5300 E Los Reales Rd. This development is located in the S.E. quarter of
the S.E. quarter of Section 14, Township 15S, Range 14E, of the Gila and Salt River Meridian,
in the S.W. quarter of Section 13, Township 15S, Range 14E, of the Gila and Salt River
Meridian, and in the N.W. quarter of Section 24, Township 15S, Range 14E, of the Gila and Salt
River Meridian. The development site occupies parcel numbers 140-39-052E, 140-39-052F,
140-44-007E, 140-44-085A, 140-37-116B, 140-37-071C, 140-37-071D, 140-37-071E, 140-37-
071F, 140-37-072B, 140-44-007E covers approximately 686.63 ± acres, and is zoned as
Planned Area Development 14 (PAD-14). The nearest major roadway intersection is East Los
Reales Road and South Craycroft Road, approximately 50 feet to the northeast of the subject
development.
This site does lie within the Tucson International Airport avigation easement requirements and
public disclosure area, FAA traffic pattern airspace, and FAA Part 77 airspace.
The Tucson Airport Authority approves the proposed project and is not requiring a resubmittal.

ADOT reviewed this CIP and has the following comments to be provided to COT DTM;

Due to the increase in traffic that will occur with the new connection of Garden Stone to Los Reales / Craycroft, consideration needs to be given to improving Craycroft north connecting to I-10. The south approach of the intersection of EB I-10 Exit Ramp and Craycroft should be a minimum 5 lane cross-section. Currently, it is a three lane section that could be improved to assist with the new traffic loading.

ADOT has no other comments and the CIP can be accepted.
