Where the Accessible route is next to the house, the top of the retaining wall should be lower than the downslope edge of accessible route. The accessible route sidewalk cannot be less than 2" below the weep screed of the house. The cross slope should be no more than 2%... Where the retaining wall is not adjacent to the accessible route, the top of it should be flush with the dirt or dg of a 5% slope away from the finished floor elevation per plan. Backfilled dirt retained needs to be compacted. slopes need to be compacted.
