Description:
Home owner had seen smoke in kitchen area and called fire department. Fire department Had used thermal imaging and found three hot spots in ceiling. After removing ceiling and located the old metal clad cable that was overheated and causing smoke, they called TEP to pull meter to de-energize panel. After meeting with insurance inspector was able to pin point the two electric runs that had to be replaced. All was safely removed and replace with new Romex 12/2 wire per NEC code.
