Description:
Per Tucson Water request, this project is provided to address the design of improvements and control valve replacements for several of the CAVSARP recharge basin turnout facilities. Tucson Water provided the following additional direction for the scope of work: “Initially the scope of work would include improvements at four of the basins, with improvements of the remaining six basins to follow. In developing the scope of work some of the pertinent items discussed include the following: 1. Replacing the flow control valves at recharge basin RB-102, RB-103, RB-106 and RB-109 would be included in the initial set. 2. The new flow control valves would be motor operated plug valves with the appropriate size along with appropriate improvements to the existing steel piping. 3. The detailed design focuses on preparing a set of plans for use by a JOC contractor and would include Civil-Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation and Control sheets. Stantec (“Designer”) is providing design services for the project. Tucson Water is the owner and the client. Tarlton Ferrin, the TW PM, was advised that PDSD permit would be waived and this Commercial Trade Permit application is needed instead. NOTE: Please note we checked "Commercial/Industrial Building" for Structure Type because a choice was required but is not fully appliable to the project.
