Our goal is to remove the existing evaporative cooler and replace it with a heat pump package unit. The only structural changes in this job is to cut a 14 inch hole in the roof and a 20x20 square hole in the hallway ceiling for the new return flex duct. A heat pump unit and a curb will be installed where the evaporative cooler is currently. For the electrical, we are tapping into the old swamp cooler disconnect for the new HVAC disconnect.
