11/25/2013 | The following 12 conditions apply to this grading permit DP13-0158: 1) Call for Pre-construction meeting. For a PDSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Planning & Development Services Department, or contact PDSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html 2) Copy of approved plan/permit DP13-0158 shall be kept at site at all times until final grading approval. 3) These sets of plans act as the approved final grading plans for private grading, and drainage improvements for Bridges Block 10 prepared by Wood Patel. 4) There shall be no disturbance outside of the disturbance/grading limits as shown on approved grading plans. Disturbance outside these limits may result in Stop Work Order, fines, and / or require revised plan submittal & review. 5) PDSD Inspector should inspect below-grade infrastructure and drainage systems when under construction. 6) Contact Permits and Codes (837-6606) for any questions regarding City of Tucson right-of-way permit requirements. 7) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact PDSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. 8) Revisions to the design must be discussed with a Civil Engineer at the City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department Engineering Division, prior to any construction activity, to determine whether additional details, calculations, drainage report, or a revised grading plan is needed, or, whether changes may be provided on as-builts. All work completed without approval is subject to Stop Work Order. 9) Permittee shall notify the PDSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage improvements and their permanent protective devices, and all permanent erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with the approved grading plan and grading permit, and all conditions of permit are completed. Any revegetated areas shall require Landscaping approval of established vegetation prior to Final Grading Approval. Any other exposed areas that are not reseeded shall be covered in gravel, unless other material is proposed and reviewed by City of Tucson. 10) Temporary erosion and sediment control devices are needed to be placed at locations where stormwater runoff exits grading limits to prevent debris, construction silt, and/or chemicals from entering public streets or any drainage ways. Interim erosion and sediment controls should be maintained per approved grading plans at downstream areas of disturbance limits. 11) Any existing trees or transplanted trees from onsite within SVT's shall be checked and trimmed to assure they are clear of leaves and branches to a height of at least 6 ft above grade. Location of trees within existing and future SVT's may be restricted or modified as determined by City of Tucson Inspectors in order to preserve visibility. 12) Project Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering completion letters, as well as As-Builts are required to be submitted prior to final Grading Inspection. Letters of certification from Engineer of Record for drainage improvements and project substantial completion are required and shall be submitted prior to final grading inspection. As-builts should include as-built elevations along drainage systems, finished pad grades, and other areas as deemed needed by surveyor. |
