The applicant is appealing the Planning Director's denial of Lot Development Option (LDO) Case LDO-02-70. Case LDO-02-70 is a request by the property owner (Arturo Ruiz) to expand the existing single-family dwelling on the property by newly constructed room addition. The applicant filed a Lot Development Option (LDO) application with the Planning Department requesting the zoning approval necessary to allow the new addition to remain as constructed with a reduced setback to the north side lot line of the property. The applicant's LDO was denied based on project's noncompliance with the required LDO Findings of LUC Section 5.3.4.3. The applicant is appealing the Planning Director's decision to deny Lot Development Option Case LDO-02-70. DECISION: LOT DEVELOPMENT OPTION DECISION REVERSED (CASE LDO-02-70 IS APPROVED) SUJBECT TO CONDITIONS. A. Building permits required for the new addition be obtained from the Development Services Department (DSD), 201 North Stone Avenue within 90 days of the date of this decision. B. Exterior facing of the new addition complement that of the original dwelling.
