T21DV01435 Noverify 03/15/2021 N/A DNR_VIOL . I am writing in regards to large signs erected by KB Home Builders at Escalante and Kolb, and Escalante and Prudence. These signs were erected on public property not adjacent to KB Homes, without permit, without blue staking, and on top of gas lines, water lines, and irrigation lines. These signs deface the community and encourage other unscrupulous persons to do the same. When KB Homes built the subdivision at Prudence and Escalante they placed a large sign at Kolb and Escalante, but this property belonged to the City of Tucson Water department. The water department cut it down, but KB Homes re-erected it. The City of Tucson once again removed it and developed the corner with landscaping at a cost, no doubt, of thousands of dollars. Once again KB Homes re-erected the sign. KB Homes also placed large handbill signs along the curbs of Escalante and along Kolb. Community members frequently removed these signs. KB Homes, apparently believing their removal was done by the city, responded by driving their wooden stakes into the violet irrigation boxes in the ground. This broke many irrigation lines and caused some of trees and bushes to perish. They continue today to be defiant. They have been a general public nuisance. It seems they wish to promote their homes at Terra Bella by diminishing the quality of surrounding areas. If you would take care of this issue, and get these signs permanently removed,
