TC-BCA-0726-00137 Approved 07/20/2026 N/A Appeal - Building Official I respectfully request an extension of the building permit for this project. The primary reason the permit expired was due to the extended review and approval process required by the Historic District Review. Throughout this period, the project remained active, and we diligently worked to address all comments, provide the requested information, and comply with the requirements of the Historic Preservation Office and the City. The length of the review process was beyond our control and significantly delayed our ability to proceed with construction within the original permit timeframe. At no point was the project abandoned or discontinued. We have remained committed to completing the project in full compliance with all applicable codes and City requirements. Granting this extension would allow us to move forward with the approved project without the unnecessary expense and delay of restarting the permitting process. We appreciate your consideration of this request and respectfully ask that the permit be extended so construction may proceed.
