Each basin will get one 4"-diameter curb core on its upstream side. 3’ pedestrian platform along 1st Street will be maintained. Plant palette – all low-water-use Tucson Basin native plants. Trees (one per basin): Desert ironwood, 2 velvet mesquite Understory to include: desert hackberry, wolfberry, jojoba, desert honeysuckle, fairy duster, chuparosa, Mormon tea, sonoran janusia, arrowweed. For example of what basins and their rockwork will look like, see the basins across the street on the south side of 1st Street between 5th Avenue and Arizona Avenue. Catalina granite rock 8-18” size to be used for rock rundown/one-rock dam hybrid and stabilization of basin banks.
