Date Description Inspector Results Comments
04/09/2026 ENGR - Drainage Structures Not Ready This is a drain pipe inspection. 6 inch HDPE drain pipe connecting basins one and two is not trenched correctly. Trench is barely over 6 inches wide. The result is a bowed drainpipe that cannot be bedded correctly.
The other 6” HDPE drain pipe from basin 1 and out into stormwater channel is correct. This drain pipe is OK to backfill. Trim end of pipe and seal it cleanly at gunite channel. Reschedule inspection when drain pipe is trenched correct correctly with clearance on each side.
05/04/2026 ENGR - Drainage Structures Not Ready Rip rap weirs were not placed. Reschedule when ready.
05/07/2026 ENGR - Drainage Structures Not Ready 5/7/26 Rip Rap
Outlet Weir in basin 1 with outflow to shotcrete channel needs to be per detail A/4 in plan. Also no gap between edge of shotcrete channel and grouted riprap. I discussed this with contractor.
Basin side slope at drain pipe between basin 1 basin 2 need to be corrected for grouted riprap inlet and outlet per plan.
The 18" HDPE drainpipe under north driveway-grouted riprap inlet slope on east side needs to be per plan details 1 and Section B-B on page 4.I discussed this with contractor.
Trim HDPE pipes appropriately 3 to 6" past RipRap openings and in shotcrete channel.
05/08/2026 ENGR - Drainage Structures Re-inspection required 5/8/26 Invert of Drain Pipe at inlet of Basin 1 has been shifted. It looks like it was pulled up in the process grouting rip rap around it. It is now higher than correct invert elevation 78.5' per plan. Fix this per plan. Other grouted riprap at the pipe inlet and outlet between basin 1 and 2 are still not correct.
Wattle needs to protect inlets and outlets Per SWPPP plan. All need to be protected if they are not actively being worked on. I had this discussion with contractor yesterday to remind him.
