Curb ramp at ADA parking: okay to form with sidewalk landing flush with asphalt (slope away from the building, less than 2%) and then ramps on either side with running slope less than 8.33%. (Similar to PAG 207 TYPE 3) 4. Sidewalk along north side of building is finished within acceptable tolerances. |

Curb ramp at SW of building is formed and complies. Okay to pour the sidewalk and ramp in this area. The sidewalk ramp on other side of PAAL just east of the Refuse Enclosures needs to be Redesigned. It needs to have positive slope from where it meets the asphalt in order to keep water drainage off of the sidewalk to comply... It looks as if this will cause a greater than 5% running slope down to the ROW sidewalk. This sidewalk may need handrail to comply. Engineer needs to redesign this so it will work and be built to plan. |
