The following items shall be exposed and verified: Framing, electrical, and footing/slab: Work shall be exposed as necessary to verify compliance with the approved plans and applicable code requirements. Bedroom electrical spacing: The electrical spacing in the bedroom does not comply with code and shall be corrected. Bedroom window: The window shall be installed in accordance with the approved plans, including the required size. Weep screed: The weep screed has been improperly installed and shall be corrected. Footings: Footings shall be exposed at multiple locations to verify the required footing depth. Slab and footing reinforcement: A qualified third-party agency shall perform X-ray/scanning of the slab and footings to verify the location and adequacy of reinforcement. Sole plate: The sole plate shall be exposed to verify proper anchorage and confirm that a treated sole plate was used where required. Top plate and vapor barrier penetrations: Penetrations through the top plate and vapor barrier shall be exposed and verified. All required penetrations shall be properly sealed. All corrections and required exposure shall be completed and made available for verification prior to approval of the work. |
