10/5/26: interior plates must be pressure treated-shot pins may be used on interior plates- max spacing for shot pins is 32" o.c. And shot pins are required within 6" at the ends of each plate, anchor bolts are required within 12" at the beginning each plate & 2 anchors within 12" of each side of a sill plate splice. Anchor bolts shall be space no greater than at 6' intervals. Expose the footing at each corner of the house-footings shall be a minimum of 12". |
