12/12/23: all four of the interior shear walls are missing 1/2” wedge anchors @ 32”, one shear wall is not blocked, east exterior shear wall has misplaced hold-down and requires a engineered substitute. 3-ply girder is not correctly posted at all bearing points. INSPECTION STOPPED. MORE ITEM MAY BE ADDED AT NEXT INSPECTION. it is evident that this house was not QC walked before it was scheduled for a COT inspection. This seems to be the norm, rather than the exception. |
