12/12/23: seal all penetrations going through top plate throughout, 16 GAGE (0.054 IN.) AND 1.5 IN. WIDE METAL TIE FASTENED ACROSS AND TO THE PLATE AT EACH SIDE OF THE NOTCH WITH 8-10 NAILS EACH SIDE on notch greater than 50% in master bedroom. R-8 flex is required to be installed per plans on attic (various locations with R-6 flex), passage in attic for mechanical appliance does not meet code (M1305.1.2), seal opening in vapor barrier with refrigerant lines coming in from outside. |
