WIDE METAL TIE FASTENED ACROSS AND TO THE PLATE AT EACH SIDE OF THE NOTCH WITH 8-10 NAILS EACH SIDE on notch greater than 50% in master bedroom. R-8 flex is required to be installed per plans on attic (various locations with R-6 flex), passage in attic for mechanical appliance does not meet code (M1305.1.2), seal opening in vapor barrier with refrigerant lines coming in from outside. |
