Add stud shoes to over notched framing members-non bearing walls up to 40% of stud's depth and 25% for exterior and load bearing walls. Will verify all items at intermediates.
09/03/2026 COT - HCPL - Plumbing Intermediate  Re-inspection required 9-3-26: 122, 123, 124, 126, 127, 128, 129, 232, 229, 230, 228, 227-washer stacker not under test, 226, 225, 224, 223-not ready, 323, 325, 324, 326, 327-washer box not under test,328, 329, 430, 431, 429-strap support dwv, 428-support dwv, 427-washer box not under test, 426, 425, 424. Add FHA plates where studs are over notched by more than 40 percent and either sister those studs or add a stud shoe. Fire caulk all penetrations at decking between floors and fire caulk penetrations at top plates. Reschedule inspection when corrections are made.
09/04/2026 COT - HCPL - Plumbing Intermediate  Partial Pass 9-4-26: reinspected the DWV at units from inspection dated 9/3/26. All units were located on the south wing. Remaining units on northern section of south wing will be scheduled next week. The units inspected today were all verified under test and fire caulking complete at DWV top,plates and at decking only. No pex lines were tested at in wall and DWV above ceiling was not looked as well. These inspections will be scheduled in the near future. Load bearing studs may be over notched by while non load bearing studs 25 percent while non load bearing studs may be notched up to 40 percent. At Over notched studs at 2-4 floors be sure to install a stud shoe together with an FHA Plate. Over notched studs at the 1st floor shall have a sister stud together with an FHA Plate. Please submit engineers letter with this detail to the city & schedule an MEP/Framing inspection for units with intended furred out walls prior to drywall. Okay to continue with construction at progress areas.

DWV at south wing corridors levels 1-4 verified under test. We will re-walk units that were noted for corrections.
Note: Per C404.4 of the IECC, Hot pex lines 1" and less require that they be insulated at in walls and above ceiling regardless of whether in a conditioned or unconditioned space.
