06/21/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did talk to T.P.D. and they did meet with the new owner and went over options on renting the unit out and also keeping it secured. Have talk to the neighbors and they have had no other incident since the last inspection where the house was boarded up on the interior of the house. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
06/13/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved T.P.D. on site with a neighborhood meeting and Ward 5 rep. Lupita, the realtors that sold the house and the house is unsecured and T.P.D. called to show up to the site and open the door. Arrived and the window on the west side has the security bar pulled down. Did find the owner info and called on the phone and discussed on what is happening on the property and were on site Thursday and pulled a female out of the house. The owner gave permission to do a forced entry to check if someone is in the house. The owner also gave permission to have the house secured on all the openings. Did find a male in the house and taken to jail. No one else found in the house. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have all the openings secured with plywood. The posting on the west side has been removed and did a re-posting of Do Not Enter. Did call the water department due to the meter is leaking and appears to have been leaking for some time due to the tall grass around the meter area. Did place a lock and chain on the drive gate and the walk gate still has the lock and secured at this time. RV.
