Communication called that T.F.D. on site with an apartment fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire was on the northeast side of the unit in the middle of the 2-bedrooms in the closet area on the second floor. The fire was near the bottom plate burning some of the wood studs, at the roof area under a wood frame cricket on the roof and also has some burning in the middle of the wall in-between the 2-burned areas. The drywall was pulled down on the ceilings to check for fire in the roof area, the walls to check for fire in the walls going ro the roof. The electrical was removed at the meter due to the fire damage. The fire damage was on the 2nd floor and has water dripping from the ceilings on the 1st floor from the water fighting the fire. The unit will be vacated at this time due to the fire damage and lacking the electrical. Redcross has been called and the owner is also working on placement for the tenants. RV. |
