Response to citizen concern about high volume detour through adjacent neighborhood. Contractor had begun assembly of hi-line water main. TC was not set per plan. Contractor added a single lane for emergency use only. This was demonstrated as unsafe for overnight use because cars were not obeying during work hours. Also, I was unable to negotiate the right turn off of Swan without hitting the signs and barricades. In addition, no resident notification was given about the road closure on Glenn I spoke with Brad Scott with Sellers and Son's and he agreed that the closure could come down until a better plan was come up with. Contractor told me they had other work they could do in the meantime. |
