09/13/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units were on site and were packing up to leave the site. A sprinkler head went off around the fire Assay section #5 unit. The was no fire damage in the area to the structure or the contants in the area and appears that the heat set off the sprinkler head off from the ovens. Only one head went off that was above the unit that was running to keep the heat into the unit to not re-heat when going to be used. The cooling system to the area was off at the time and the oven may of over heated due to the cooling system was off at the time. The equipment was not in use and was just keeping warm for the next use. There is water damage to the floor area through out the building and that was being cleaned up when on site. Some areas have carpet or VCT in some of the offices. The wall has masonry walls where the sprinkler head went off with no damage to the wall. The ceiling was partially opened where the exhaust system goes through the roof. There is no fire damage to the building but does have water on the floor through out. Most of the flooring is exposed concrete with some areas with VCT or carpet. The business was closed at the time of the incident and the workers were called to the site. The business is in the process of moving from another location and not fully staffed. One sprinkler head went off and no fire damage to the building. It appears that the heat of the oven set off the sprinkler head due to the amount of heat the oven was producing. The electrical was turned back on at this time and the workers were on site to clean the water off the floor to the outside of the buiding. The building was closed at the time of the incident and the workers came to the site. The water was removed from the flooring as much as they could. The flooring in alot of the areas are exposed concrete. Will check the site on Wednesday. T.F.D. is waiting for the head to be replaced to go back on line. The gas was turned back on and all was working when left the site. The ovens were going to be left off until Monday and will be checking all the units before they are turned back on. RV.
