10/09/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Talk to owner, draftsman and have checked Permits Plus. No permit is showing in applied status but did received the copy of the plans submitted for approval on the D.D.O. They have been talking to Mark Cartro and they will be calling on the status of the permit and creating a permit number. Will check in 60 days. RV.
07/22/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The owner has hired someone to do the drawings and have talk to the person working on the drawings. Not sure if the owner is still working with the person who sold the house but the owner is going to get the permit instead of removing the structures. The owner has talk to the neighbors on keeping the structures and are aware of the D.D.O. being denied before and will be submitting soon. Will check in 60 days. RV.
05/28/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner and went over the issues on the property. Did go over that the owner Jose Portillo was aware of the issues and built the structures. The owner who sold the property did not disclose the issues needing permits to the new owners. Did let the new owners now that plans have been done and they were denied on the D.D.O. due to the set back issues on the property line to the neighbors property. Did show where there is failure on the rear structure that is being used a a garage at this time. Showed the setbacks on the property lines on 2-sides,-the alley and the side yard. Did give copies of the areials and showed when the addition were built. The windows were added with taking out the old windows and some were blocked and made into the wall section. Did let the owner know that the N.O.V. has been mailed and they should get it in a few days. Will be checking the site in July. RV.
