01/05/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the units were clearing the site. The car went into the building of unit A. A wood post for the wood frame deck was knocked down and was brokened. The wall at the front entrance was removed with taking the door out. The carpet was damaged from the vehicle trying to back out of the unit. The electrical was removed at the breaker at the main panel. Once the vehicle was removed from the unit, the tenant was allowed to gather some items from the unit and will be staying someone where else. The management had a contractor on site to have the opening secured. The living room has all the damage and the other rooms are OK at this time. The contractor was able to cut a wire and place wire nuts and tape on the wire and put the electrical back on. Did leave a posting of Do Not Enter with the contractor to place on the wall once it was built to cover the opening where the vehicle entered the unit. The manager signed the paperwork while on site. The wall that was hit was not load bearing. The front door and the wall wood studs were removed from the wall from being broken or removed from the plate from the impact of the vehicle hitting the building. Approx. 25 l.f. x 9' tall. This was a 2-story sturcture and the damage was on the bottom unit. All the other units were checked and are OK at this time. RV.
