11/14/2019 | COT - ENGR - Signage Final | Hthrall | Partial Approval | Entered by HTHRALL1 - RE: monument sign review For: 1066 W Grant Rd / Dunkin' Donuts Permit: T19OT01080 1) Monument sign should be shown to scale on the site plan in position. (Mathematically, it will be fine at 9' long contained within the 10' wide landscape border, outside vehicle overhang area and behind Grant Rd. property line. Just show the 9' length to a scale that can be printed at 11x17 on the plan set, please.) 2) Hi-strength bolts and on site welds each requires a special inspection and engineering specific for those attachment methods. The size of this sign, surface area wise, does not require engineering. You may wish to examine different options for mounting the cabinet plate to the pipe, and specifying any welds done in shop. 3. Show shut off switch. 4. Indicate where panel is for the sign dedicated circuit, and how power is going to be run to the sign (new site). Send revised plan sheets to Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov |
