06/26/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Looked at a copy of the measurements of the property and the side property is 71'. Did go to the property and and measured with inspector Goodman. Did have one pin and measured and it was close to 71'. Was not able to find another pin in the rear and went off the new wall back and was also close to the 71'. Did meet with the owner of the property and went over that the permit has been issued for a 6' wall but the wall is over the 6' height. The highest point is 7'-8" on the west corner in the alley. The owner will be going back to P.D.S.D for the adjusted heigh of the wall. Will check in 30 days. RV.
06/25/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did get a response from zoning and the permit was for a 6' wall and due to over the 6' height, the permit needs to be reviewed and a D.D.O. done for the added height. Did do a Stop Work Order on the front window due to no one home. Did talk to the neighbors and they are not splitting the cost of the wall due to they have their own wall. There is a water meter in the rear of the property for the neighboring property and is blocking access to the water line if needs to be repaired. It may appear that the orginal pins may have been removed and another place in the area that the pin was removed from. Did do the posting of the N.O.V. with the Stop Work Order on the front window. Will check in 30 days. RV.
