06/27/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved The supervisor Martin Romero called that inspector Morales is at a site with work with out permits on a house and needs to be looked at for permit issues. Arrived and the worker were on site and was able to walk around with them and look at the work being done. The front porch and the carport and with a storage room has all been re-done on the roof sheathing and the rafters. The existing has been removed and re-built with new wood framing The wood siding has all been replaced through out the storage room area. The cooler has been removed from the roof and have stated that AC package unit will be place on the roof. The beams on the front porch and the carport are 2-2 x 6 split on a 4 x 4 wood post. The rafters are 2 x 6's on 24" o.c. spanning approx. 9'. The rafters are not bearing on the top plate at this time and went over if the 2 x 6's are to remain, will need to place some blocking placing under the 2 x 6's to have the proper bearing for support of the new porch. The drywall has been remove at the bottom from the floor up approx. 4' up due to water damage. Other rooms have more drywall above the 48" removed including some of the ceilings. The front of the house by the front door has all new wood siding near the living room area. New windows have been replaced with new through out. There is a hole made in the concrete in the bathroom area and dug out to the main drain line. The pipe has a crack and needs to be replaced. The workers stated that the Permaliner may be installed. Did talk to the owner and went over the issues that require permits. The front door was removed and the workers were advised that the door installation can be completed to have the house secured and not to cover any work from the point and not to continue any more work on the property until the permit has been issued or the approval has been issued.
