All metallic gas piping to be elevated, secured, and elevated 3 1/2 inches above the surface below it. Open up the gas pipe trench for inspection. Fletcher coated piping (is used in place of black iron uncoated pipe) with sprayed and taped fittings, this needs to be seen/inspected and approved. Spray and tape must be listed for the gas piping application, see plumbing supply house. |
