Removed the plywood off the rear sliding glass door and placed it back up. Did go over the permits that will be need to get back into the house and did let the owner know that the house will need to be checked for min. housing condition befor re-occupied. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
06/12/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The house is vacant and secured. Have been in contact with the onwer of the property who lives in San Antonio, Texas and should be in town in a few weeks. RV.
05/23/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Communication called that they are ready for inspection. Arrived and the dead dog has been removed. Was advised that a third dog is around and has not been found. The person living in the house is being arrested and going to be tested. The house has signs of hoarding and has not been cleaned for some time. Windows and doors have been shot up and holes in the walls through out the house. The fire was in the rear bedroom of the southwest side of the house. The mattress was burned and was foam and smoked alot. Some burning to the drywall and got into the wood framing studs in the southeast coner of the master bedroom. The main structure OK. The electrical and the gas have been removed at the meter due to the fire damage. The owner lives in Texas and called Arcaiden Industries to the property to have the property secured. Did to the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. Was able to lock the front door and found the key to the deadbolt on the floor. Did do the posting of N.O.V. to Vacate on the front window due to not able to make contact with the owner of the property. RV.
05/23/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved T.P.D. called that the house needed to be opened to let the E.A.T.F. into the house top check the shooting and the re-loading of the Ammo. Did open the rear sliding glass door to let them into the house and once they were completed, re-secured the house. They were going to meet and check if the house needed to be re-opened. The house is vacant and secured at this time. RV.
