07/22/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Partial Approval TCO OK for full operations. Make sure to keep access for egress on east stairwell while completing work on sidewalks. Need The most up to date drawing on the egress and exit signs reviewed and approved by the city, then please have this drawing on site for inspector. Firewall corrections need to be completed. Please re-install ceiling tiles around kitchen hood. Engineering and fire corrections need to be completed. All special inspection paperwork needs to be submitted and approved. Test and balance report needs to be completed and submitted. Exterior lighting at front door needs to be completed.
07/16/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Partial Approval current TCO status for fixturing stocking and moving in furniture ok to be extended to the third-floor as well. Only part of building not under TCO status at this point is the kitchen and kitchen area. Again make sure to keep one of the middle stairwells clear and free of debris at all time for egress.
07/10/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Not ready for Inspection this was for a gas clearance. Gas piping in kitchen needs to be capped off or connected to appliances at all points before gas clearance can be given.
07/09/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Partial Approval OK for TCO for stocking fixturing and moving in furniture only. TCO is for First floor except kitchen area, all of second floor, and third floor only ok pending fire sprinkler completion and approval by Chris fire inspector. One middle stairwell whether the one in the building or outside of the building needs to be clear of debris and maintained that way until both middle stairwells can be used. Too early to list corrections for full CO.
06/26/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Not ready for Inspection still too much confusion with egress and exit signs for a TCO at this point. Any part of the building that is going to have a TCO needs to have exit signs within sight and directing you to a clear path of egress that exits the building and not into construction, until that time not able to approve. Also need to address the fact that the fire foam used on all the fire rated walls is not the UL listing that is on the drawings, please get an RFI confirming this is an OK substitute.
06/24/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Not ready for Inspection this was to walk the first and second floor for a TCO. Only walked 1st floor. Exit signs discussed from original walk still missing, Big meeting room on first floor has no exit signs to know which way to go out. East side stairwell first level, path of egress is not clear, equipment and dirt piles in the way. West side stairwell and lobby also has construction going on, path of egress not fully clear including construction equipment outside of doors. Construction barricades may need to be improved in order to maintain safety pending on how we are routing people, especially if there a TCO on only part of one floor. Drinking water will need to be provided as the chlorination report has not been submitted and approved.
06/14/2019 BUILDING - FINAL Not ready for Inspection this was a walk with the super again to see if they’re close enough for a TCO on the second floor. Before this can happen we need fire department approval, functioning restrooms which mean sewer needs to be released, and two clear a paths of egress that are marked and functioning. Also need a clear path from building all the way to street which includes engineering and transportation giving their approval.
