05/23/2017 FIRE INSP - STATE LICENSE Denied 2012 IFC 1008.1.9 Door operations. Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort.
1) You shall remove the key locking cylinder from the NE door from wherehouse and from the janitors closet interior. You are allowed the use of a bolt lock that uses a quarter turn to unlatch on the egress side.

2012 IFC 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or
floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances.
1) You shall remove the extension cord powering the multiplug adapter in the wherehouse.

2012 IFC 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, firestops, shaft enclosures, partitions, smoke barriers, floors, fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to structural members and fire-resistant joint systems) shall be
maintained.
1) You shall repair the walls in the where house at the NW corner and on the West wall.

2012 IFC 901.6.2 Records. Records of all system inspections, tests and maintenance required by the referenced standards shall be maintained on the premises for a minimum of three years and shall be copied to the fire code official upon request.
1) You shall acquire and provide the inspector with a copy of your most recent fire sprinkler annual inspection report.




2012 IFC 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm, and extinguishing systems, mechanical smoke exhaust systems, and smoke and heat vents shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective.
1) Your hallway inbetween your conference room and two offices has a mixture of standard response and quick response heads in the same compartment (hallway). You shall have your sprinkler service contractor provide the correct replacement heads per your design. The last tenant improvement to your facility that has a permit and plans on file is T10BU00385. All sprinkler heads on this plan are Standard Response heads.
